I have to manage some audio tracks, a monitor for the lyrics and a projector for the video clips via HDMI.
The projector for the video clips often arrives late compared to the audio that comes in via USB to a Soundcraft U24R.
The delay changes at every start. Sometimes there is none, other times it is a lot, therefore, I cannot apply a delay to the audio.
Why does this problem occur?
How can I fix it?
I use a MacBook Pro i7 with an external Sandisk Extreme SSD

remember that LT use your system/driver, do not "add" anything
MacBook Pro i7 doesnt clear too much, if the i7 is a very old model the entire achitecture can suffer compelx setup (especially video flow)
it is very difficult for us todetermine what's wrong, anyway you can do several tests to find the hiccup:
-try only with videos and see if delay still there, if not, mens that your system do not support all the data flow
OR
start it with audio only and see if it is ok, then add lyrics and videos
OR
put media into internal SSD instead external, maybe your usb ports it is limited
