Midi file for controlling

Hi,
Can anyone help me control my Line 6 pod xt live fx? I understand that I have to create a midi file to achieve this but I have failed every attempt and it is frustrating and probably very easy. I have a medical memory problem so I need to see the information set out so that I can double-check each step.

HI Benzig,

To control external equipment like your Line 6 you need to create a "Midi Control Track". Check out this video which I found really useful.

You can also do it with a midi track but you may find problems with getting the change events exactly where you want them.
