Hello! I've been a frequent user of this software with more than 50 gigs performed in one year, Livetraker has been an amazing tool for my band. I've been using it with Windows and Mac. The context is that I plan my show at home with backing tracks, edition in DAW and so on...
I have some suggestions that I'd like you to take into account for the future.
• Overall good performance, no crashes when following the instructions.
• Switching from one bank to another does not allow selecting songs from the playlist; the program must be restarted to choose the desired bank.
• There should be an option to name songs by artist and title, or at least add some annotation.
• In the Tools section, there should be a playback marker, allowing the song to start at that exact point when selected.
• A track duplication feature would be useful, automatically selecting the desired monitor for duplicated tracks to avoid manual duplication, which is time-consuming (e.g., lyric track in monitor 1 and a copy in monitor 2).
• When editing the lyrics track while in “play” mode, changes are not saved once the song ends.
• There should be an option where the lyrics track automatically matches the length of the other tracks when created.
• A feature to add markers for jumping back to specific sections of songs (e.g., verse, chorus), which would be helpful when interacting with the audience.
• An option to link one song to the next, for example, pressing play on the next song with an additional button, allowing smooth transitions in the playlist. This is particularly useful when switching music genres without waiting for a song to finish. (Context, there have been some gigs which a certain song doesn't work as expected with public and changes in the middle should be made).
• A track volume meter feature displaying loudness values (e.g., “Bass -10dB, next track Guitar playing at -14dB”).
• When a subgroup routing is omitted, editing multiple tracks in Edit Song mode does not allow selecting the output for that audio subgroup. To fix this, users must go into Preferences, select the subgroup, switch to another song, then go back to the song being edited before being able to assign the audio subgroup.
• A possible option for automatic subgroup detection, where the program recognizes names like “Bass” and automatically routes them to the corresponding “Bass” subgroup.
• An option where all newly added songs automatically include a lyrics track, instead of adding it manually.
• A function to unlock the click track, allowing users to select a specific region of a song.
• A loop button to select and repeat certain sections of a song.
Thank you so much it's an amazing software, I don't know if I needed to submit a ticket but I wanted to put my two cents in.
Greetings.
Luis.

We would like to thank those who are actively participating by providing suggestions to improve our software. The users' perspective is extremely important to us.
We certainly take every single suggestion into consideration and will evaluate over time which aspects should be integrated or improved to make the product more user-friendly.
However, there are often requests that go beyond the logic with which we designed Livetraker, such as smooth transitions in the playlist, back switching, loop features, and so on.
Livetraker has a specific operational logic, meaning it is 90% designed to reproduce the work that has been previously set up.
Adding features like mixing or looping would push the product in a direction we do not want.
Livetraker was created to do a few things but do them well; we are not interested in adding features just for marketing purposes.
As the primary users of this software ourselves, we want it to stay true to the original line that has allowed us to stay active for 10 years, despite the large number of new software entering the market every day.
Our software was born to manage a live concert, where everything is precisely programmed in advance.
Our professional-tier clients use Livetraker in front of audiences of thousands of people, and everything is programmed without the need to intervene on-the-fly with the parameters.
If this happens, it means it is not a concert, but entertainment music or situations where the music needs to be changed according to the location. In these cases, our software can still be used, but due to its basic features, it was not designed to fill this need.
For example, the banks were not designed to be changed during the event, but to have different repertoires based on the concert to be performed. Once a bank is loaded, it is not changed until the end of the performance: this is what happens at concerts, where nothing should be altered, not even the timing of spoken interventions, an area where Livetraker excels.
We wanted to specify this aspect because it is very important for us to confirm that your contributions and sharing of experiences are fundamental to improving the product.
However, as we have said over the years, our stated goal is to ensure that this software remains true to its original concept, distancing itself from features and methods already present in many other software solutions that, in these cases, can even be better used than ours.
We are not interested in competing with these software solutions, and we don't want to target a market that doesn't belong to us.
We prefer to stay small but true to the original project, as it is essentially the only weapon we have to defend ourselves from an extremely aggressive market dominated by very powerful companies with whom we certainly cannot compete.
Thank you again to all of you for the support you show towards this project and the valuable advice you share with us.
