Add LYRICS SCREEN OUTPUT option as a system preference

Hello! Would it be possible, please, to have the ability to send lyrics to whichever screen we want "from the general preferences" (tab VIDEO, section LYRICS), the same way this is available from the songs' level LYRICS SETTINGS?

Many times, I have a single laptop, hence need the lyrics to be displayed on the internal screen, but other times I have 2 screens, the 2nd for lyrics. Also, I cannot change the songs' settings every time I change screen configuration as I have over 100 songs. Right now, I can only mirror the internal display on both screens (hence I see the full application in both screens). It would be a great enhancement to be able to send only the lyrics on an external 2nd screen.

hi, livetraker handles multiple monitors without any problems, within which you can set the video tracks.

screen mirroring or duplication must be preset at the level of your computer/operating system, not by livetraker, which simply "reads" how many monitors are present in the system and from there assigns the relative tracks.

About preferences, you can save the preferences with the numbers of monitors and recall them when do you need it.
Again: Livetraker do NOT manage hardware, just READ your hardware, so if the OS change configuration, maybe you'll need to adjust preferences accordly. that's why General setting and song settings are separate.

You can send the lyrics out to an external monitor. In song edit mode, choose the lyric track and under Lyric Settings you can choose which Screen Output Group you want to use. The only problem with this option is that the lyrics disappear from the main computer screen where you're controlling Livetraker.

Livetracker folks, it would be great if you could have the lyrics on both an internal and external Screen Output Group.

We don't understand why you are referring to this... lyrics are visible on the main computer with "internal" mode :-)
Of course you need to arrange the internal section of the main screen to fit everything, but you can definitely do this.
I'm taking advantage of this trend to point out that the new version of Livetraker V5, which we expect to release in the next two months, will replace the internal video mode with an additional separate video, so there will be four total video groups instead of 3 + 1 as it is now.

What I do is to duplicate the lyrics track...one goes for internal and the other I choose the output source EXT 1 for my Teleprompter.

You can also edit that new track with instructions (i.e. for guitar players, vocals, etc...) which doesn't affect the other lyric track.
